About Mrs. Stockham
Welcome to my Science Classroom Website!
I graduated from University of Southern California (fight on!) in 2010 with a BA in Communication. After doing multiple internships in the Los Angeles area, I realized that while I do love to communicate, I prefer communication with kids! After graduation I decided to pursue a teaching credential and enrolled at Azusa Pacific University where I received my Foundational Level Science teaching credential in 2012 and my Masters in Digital Teaching and Learning in 2013. I spent my first year teaching 7th and 8th grade science at Hollencrest Middle School in West Covina and am now currently teaching my sixth year of 6th and 7th Grade Science at Goddard Middle School in Glendora.
I married my husband Brad in 2014 and we have two kids, Stella (3) and Wesley (1). We also have a boxer named TJ. We enjoying spending time together in our hometown of Claremont.
I love playing with technology and finding ways to implement it in the classroom. I believe that learning should be hands-on and engaging for all students. I also believe that students should be able to learn in a safe environment where they are free to share their thoughts and communicate with their peers. I love science, and you should love science too, because SCIENCE MATTERS!
